The Revs will play Chelsea in a charity match at Gillette Stadium: Robert Kraft announced a future match between his New England Revolution and Roman Abramovich’s Chelsea FC earlier in November, but the date remains unknown. For Chelsea – a team busily making its way through an multi-competition schedule – the timing will be difficult. Still, it’s a future prospect for New England soccer fans to look forward to. How Bill Belichick described Vikings receiver Adam Thielen: Ahead of the game against the Vikings, Bill Belichick was asked about one of Minnesota’s best players.
“He’s a tough matchup for a smaller corner in terms of size,” Belichick said of the 28-year-old receiver, “and he’s a tough matchup for a bigger corner in terms of the quickness that he has. He’s also a good runner after the catch, so he can take a shorter pass and turn it into a sizable gain with his size and running ability after the catch. He plays inside, he plays outside. They move him around.” [NESN]
Heavyweights Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury got into it at a pre-fight event. The fight is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1. (Caution: strong language).
