Martellus Bennett shed no tears over the Packers’ struggles

The Patriots defeated the Vikings at Gillette Stadium on Sunday afternoon, 24-10. Tom Brady, averaging over 50 rushing yards a season for 19 years, crossed the 1,000-yard threshold.

The Bruins head to Florida to play the Panthers on Tuesday (7 p.m.) while the Celtics host the Knicks on Thursday (8 p.m.)

Martellus Bennett was unmoved by the Packers’ struggles: Former Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett had an eventful parting of ways from the Packers a year ago after signing in Green Bay as a free agent. And the now retired tight end – who helped the Patriots win Super Bowl LI – had a striking reaction to the Packers losing in an upset to the Cardinals on Sunday:

After the game, Green Bay fired coach Mike McCarthy. Bennett, who continued to tweet his Sunday football thoughts, had a different reaction to the Patriots’ win (using stronger language).
