Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics forward, drops camper with crossover, throws down one-hand dunk

Boston Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum has faced a lot of high-level competition.

He helped the Celtics knock off the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the first round. He outplayed Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference semifinals. He lit up the eventual Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers, and even dunked on LeBron James in Game 7. He has an incredibly bright future, and watching what he does in his second season will be fascinating.

Anyway, here’s a video of Tatum making a kid fall at a Long Island basketball camp.

Sometimes in these videos, a defender’s foot gets caught on the ball-handler, or the ball-handler gives a little push off that sends the opponent reeling.

That doesn’t appear that was the case here. This just looks like Tatum dropped some poor fan to the floor and then paused to stare at him in a Harden-esque way before throwing down a one-handed hammer.

Also underrated: The guy running next to Tatum and pretending to dunk in tandem with him, just several feet below the rim.

Anyway, it’s always worth remembering that if you play basketball, you are one crossover and one cameraphone away from going viral on the internet. Strengthen those ankles.
